Here is a recap of The CM Merritt Foundation 4th Annual Scholarship Fundraiser.

I would like to thank everyone that took out time from their busy schedules to attend and also the ones that donated but couldn't attend. Your combined efforts helped make our 4th Annual Scholarship Fundraising Gala a success.

Of course, the apex of the evening was the excellent presentation of our guest of honor and speaker, Dr Angela White. Her knowledge of the issues and challenges facing black women in STEM and the opportunity to lean-in our understanding of the issues and to implement solutions and support systems, is unparalleled.

Dr White made Candice’s vision leap off the page, and her appeal to all present, to assist in the CMMF’s goals, will be forever appreciated.

To all our donors and supporters, you are the heartbeat of the Candice M Merritt foundation and together, we are giving wings to Candice’s dreams and ambitions.

We also want to give a shout out to IQue, our good friend and DJ for his mood setting tunes and for always supporting the CMMF.

Last but not least, I would also like to send a heartfelt thank you to the staff and owners of The Bellevue Conference and Event Center for their great hospitality and their flawless services. They are true leaders and visionaries and we are thankful for their support and wonderful facility for our Gala.
