For the 2025–2026 academic year, the CM Merritt Foundation is honored to support seven outstanding students through the Candice Marcia Merritt Endowed Scholarship at North Carolina A&T State University. What began as a mother’s tribute to her daughter’s life, love, and servant heart has grown into a living legacy—one that continues to open doors, encourage dreams, and affirm the brilliance of students pursuing their education with determination and purpose. Each scholarship awarded represents more than financial support. It represents belief. It represents opportunity. And it reflects Candice’s spirit of compassion and service, which continues to touch lives far beyond her own. We are deeply thankful to our donors, partners, and the University community whose continued support makes this impact possible.
